Coaches Corner

• All PAID and VOLUNTEER coaches are required to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit through the Ohio Department of Education to work with, supervise or coach student athletes in Ohio.
• All PAID and VOLUNTEER coaches are bound by all regulations of the OHSAA.

Process:

1. Complete the Coaches' Tool Chest
2. Go to Central Office (5175 Emerald Parkway) for a background check (FBI and BCI)
   • If this is a paid position, the cost is $48.00 and must be paid with exact cash or check made out to “Dublin City Schools.”
   • Please bring your photo ID and social security card or passport to your appointment.
   • If you have completed a background check within the last 12 months, it was sent electronically to ODE, and can provide a hard copy of the results to Human Resources you will not need to complete a background check.
3. Obtain Pupil Activity Permit
